Return & Refund Policy

Lockit store always seeks to provide the best pre-purchase and post-purchase services, so our new products come with a two-year warranty after their initial purchase to preserve your rights and be suitable for the purpose for which they were designed, provided that they are free from defects of misuse. Please read this agreement carefully, as you will receive payment for the purchase price from this agreement. You must keep the sales invoice provided with the product or sent via e-mail, as it is an integral part of this agreement and you may be requested to obtain the service.

Conditions for obtaining warranty:

· Breakage and personal misuse are not included. The warranty includes manufacturing defects and errors only.

- Misuse of the product and any subsequent damage; Misuse is defined by the cases described here below, but not limited to, in the additional catalogs and in the instruction manual included with the product. The following cases are considered among the most common cases of personal damage to the products (the product is used to tighten, or the speed of closing the door is not controlled, which may damage it. Internal parts of the product, installation of the product by people without experience).

. New products include a two-year warranty from the time of purchase free from defects such as breakage and damage due to misuse.

- The opened product is not in its natural state

- Failure to follow operating instructions

- The product was exposed to water 

- Performing any external maintenance - The product malfunctions partially or completely due to the use of accessories that are not compatible with the device’s characteristics.

· Overloading, misusing the product, or operating it in a way that conflicts with the instructions accompanying the product. 

· Any use of the product other than that for which it was designed.

Warranty Coverage, Terms and Conditions

· The above-mentioned warranty is provided to the first customer, and the customer does not have the right to request a replacement unless Lockit store is able to maintain it immediately or which may take a period of up to 14 days.

· The customer has the right to request replacement of products in the event of lack of maintenance within the mentioned period, or the remaining period of the warranty period is calculated, and the amount is refunded to the customer and the product is returned in its condition to Lockit store store.

· In the event of a warranty claim, our obligation at (Lockit Store) is limited to replacing or repairing the product, at the discretion of our team for the condition of the product(s) or part(s) that it determines to be defective in materials or workmanship.

· The customer has the right to a replacement during the warranty period if its conditions are met only once, and in the event of a recurrence of the problem, the remaining amount of the warranty period will be returned.

 

The smart locks warranty does not cover the following cases: -

1- Problems with the door’s budget or the door being affected by weather factors (temperature, humidity, etc.).

2- Using poorly made batteries or emitting liquids from the batteries into the lock.

3- Closing the door forcefully or exposing it to strong winds and not having a shutter for the external doors.

4- Not installing the safety screw attached to the lock, which causes the outer handle to not connect with the inner handle and not respond to opening.

5- Use any additional tool not included with the lock (cardboard - additional screws and other tools).

6- There was a break in the door and it was replaced with additional wood to cover the break only.

9- The lock is exposed to water and heat .

10- Children get attached to the handle and break it.

11- Injuring the fingerprint sensor or keyboard with sharp objects such as a ring or other tools.

12- Breaking the lock for some reason.

 

Conditions for technician visit and maintenance:

If there is a defect or problem after installing the lock , you must contact customer service on WhatsApp and send an explanatory video of the problem after that If the defect is software, the solution will be sent via WhatsApp. However, if the cause is a problem with the lock itself, the store will send the spare part or replacment that is required ,  (within two years).

 However, in store orders e lock is required to be shipped to the store’s address, and shipping fees are charged to the buyer (receipt and delivery).

Golden 2 years warranty 

 

If you receive the lock and do not like it, you can return the lock and get your money back without mentioning the reason for the return Terms and conditions for the Golden warranty applied Firstly The lock must not be used or installed on the door and it must be retrieved in the same way as it was received secondly The shipping, receipt and return fees are deducted from the amount paid (60 AED) for each customer order Third The period for refunding the amount is from 5 to 14 working days, according to the bank’s terms and conditions fourthly The lock must be retrieved within a maximum of 24-48 hour of receiving the request

 

order cancellation 

The customer can cancel the order within two hours of ordering it through the website.
The customer has the right to cancel the order before delivering the shipment to the shipping company
If the shipment is canceled after executing the order, only the value of the product will be refunded, the value of the shipment will be deducted, and the electronic payment commission will be deducted, including free shipping.


Refund:

The return is made within the specified period within 7 working days of receiving the shipment from the shipping company, via bank transfer from the store’s account. If you canceled the order and paid by credit card, please note that it may take 14 business days for the amount to appear in your bank statement once the payment is processed by the Finance Department.

The customer will be contacted by customer service to request a bank account in order to recover the amount, and there will be a transfer fee to a different bank .
